I live in Stellenbosch with my wife, Helanya, adopted cat, Jerry, and my Senegalese Baobab, Plantjie. The photo was taken on a pony trek through Lesotho, which I can recommend to anyone willing to forgo Western conveniences for a few days.

  1. Hi Johan,

I noted your question regarding FPV flight around Brisbane area on the FPV Facebook page.

I work for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in the sport aviation section and I would like to take the opportunity to explain the regulations that model aircraft are required to abide by in Australia.

    Many thanks,

    Steve

  7. Hi Johan
I really hope that this mail finds you! I work for a company called Unplugged Communications in Fourways, Johannesburg. I came across a photo on your Mercy Ships blog that we would like to use on a wall banner (it will be used once-off.) This is the photo: bafana.jpg – photo of crowd in the stadium.

would like to know if you have the rights to this photograph, and if you have it perhaps in a larger format? If so, can we buy the rights for once-off use from you?

Your assistance will be much appreciated – my deadline is COB today (3 June 2013), so time is of the essence!

    Kind regards
